Is the Ford Fusion/Mondeo American or not?
I was perusing Ford of Europe's Wikipedia page and it said the current Ford Mondeo was designed in Dearborn, Michigan. Then I went to the Ford Fusion's Wikipedia page and it said the car was designed by Ford of Europe. Neither had sources.
Unless Ford of Europe moved to Michigan, I don't see how both can be correct.

Was it designed in Michigan or Europe? The answer is yes.
It's an automotive mutt. Bits and pieces were developed all over the world.

Ford: Dearborn, Michigan. Ford Europe: has to call Dearborn first. :)

I think it's a reflection from a blue light in front of the car, you can see it on the bumper too. Probably the Ford oval light.

My understanding is that Dearborn was the lead in the design/engineering. They sell next to none in Europe, at least relative to North American sales. Since it is the bread and butter of NA, it makes sense for it to be designed there.
